Repentance brings healing, freedom, and clarity.

As we close out our time together this week, I want to thank you for persevering to the very end. My deepest prayer is that the Holy Spirit has begun ministering to your soul, revealing Himself to you in a way that only He can – speaking clearly His instructions, healing broken hearts, and guiding you along the path of a great future in intimacy with Him.

I wanted to share this week's final piece of the puzzle (as if there could only be one final piece!) The Lord is calling His Sons and Daughters into deep repentance. Many have lived a watered-down, diluted, faithless "Christian" journey. Many have compromised and catered to culture. Many thought their mother's faith saved them. They thought their church attendance saved them. Many allowed diluted messages with no anointing into the church.

We must repent. All of us. Regularly. It is repentance that brings revival. It is repentance that draws the Lord nigh. It is repentance that ushers in the voice of God with clarity and peace where confusion has long laid. We must make it a daily practice to spend the first portion of our daily prayer time in repentance, asking the Lord to search our hearts. Repent means to have genuine sorrow for our sin and to turn from it. Repentance is not simply being sorry. Many are sorry they must walk out the consequences of a poor choice. Repentance is being willing to turn from that thing in our lives. It is relinquishing it to the Lord. If there is no repentance, there is no freedom. There can be no clarity in hearing from the Lord, when we have active, unrepentant sin in our lives.

In the practical sense, repentance is sitting with the Holy Spirit and asking what displeases Him. Begin listing out the things He reveals. Take time to grieve the sin that has dishonored your Lord and Savior. As we do this, we will be shocked at how clearly the Lord speaks to us in the future!
