Acts 3:11-26 | Who Are You Turning To?

DAY 4 OF 5

Turn to God by calling on Jesus. He’s the only way. There’s no other option. That’s what Peter has to say.

If you’re guilty of killing Jesus (or even of just offending him), like Peter says, it’s natural to want to avoid what happened and bury the past away. Here’s the issue. Jesus is no longer dead. God raised him to life and vindicated him. He is the king. What do you do when you realize you’ve dismissed, disdained, or had a hand in killing Jesus who is the now-living king? You turn to him for forgiveness and throw yourself on his mercy. Because it is not as though it has gone unaware.

It’s the same proclamation we’ll hear through Acts. There’s one way to God. It’s through Jesus. There’s one way to get right with God. It’s through Jesus. There’s one way to deal with our treason and betrayal against King Jesus. It’s by turning to Jesus.

About this Plan

Acts 3:11-26 | Who Are You Turning To?

Acts asks a recurring question: Who are you turning to? It’s an invitation by God to turn to Jesus. This 5-day plan continues a journey through the book of Acts, the Bible’s gripping sequel of Jesus at work in the life of his followers as he expands his kingdom to the ends of the earth. It’s a journey on what it means to be a Christian. It’s a story in which you have a role to play.
