Can you believe you're just five days away from the end of this incredible journey? It's starting to sink in that the finish line is near.

But what happens when you reach the end? It was a bittersweet moment for me; is it for you too? On one hand, I was excited to indulge in some delicious food again. Don't get me wrong, I missed some! But on the other hand, I never want to leave that incredible place of complete reliance on God alone, where food is not my main focus.

Remember, my friend, that we don't live solely by bread but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. That’s the truth that has sustained you throughout this journey. It's a powerful reminder that there is so much more to life than just satisfying your physical hunger.

One of my prayers at the time of the fasting had been to gain control over my eating habits. Why? Because there's a bigger purpose at stake here. Our loved ones need us. Our communities need us. There's a kingdom out there waiting for us to make a meaningful impact, and for many of us, whether it’s food, alcohol, or another vice, we can’t let that thing steal our purpose.

Surrender yourself wholly to God. Don’t be swayed by any of these distractions and temptations this world has to offer. Don't spend a single day outside of His purpose for your life. Why? Because when you live in alignment with His will, you get to witness amazing things happening all around you. His divine plans unfold right before your eyes.

So, as you continue this journey and prepare for the end of the fast, hold onto to this truth: there's a greater purpose in your life, and I repeat, don’t waste a single moment living outside of it. You were made to make an impact, and I have no doubt that together with the Holy Spirit when you surrender the vice, you’ll see His will fulfilled in extraordinary ways. Keep pushing, keep surrendering, and keep embracing His purpose. The best is yet to come!

Prayer: Lord, align my heart, my mind and my actions with Your divine will by ridding me of every vice in my life. Help me discern Your plans and purpose for my life through prayer and seeking Your guidance without wasting a single moment. Grant me the wisdom to make decisions that align with Your perfect plan. Lead me on this journey of rebuilding, trusting that every step is orchestrated by Your loving hands. I surrender my plans to Your divine alignment. In Jesus' name, Amen.
