Philemon: Transforming and Unifying Relationships | Video Devotionalნიმუში

Refresh Your Heart
Now that you've read through the book of Philemon, we invite you to re-watch the overview video from Day 1. Re-watching this video with a fresh set of eyes will remind you of everything you've learned as you revisit the overarching theme of the book of Philemon: Transforming and Unifying Relationships.
Reflect
Next, reflect as you re-read Philemon 1:8-16. Ask God to send His Holy Spirit to help you understand its central theme: that following Jesus transforms our relationships by embodying the radical, reconciliatory love that Jesus modeled. The Gospel redefines social and economic categories calling us to treat each other with sacrificial love and partnership beyond societal norms.
What's Next?
As believers in Jesus, we are called to become more like Jesus. This happens as we see Him in God's Word (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, we invite you to keep looking for Jesus on every page of the Bible.
If you'd like to continue studying the epistles, check out our reading plan on 1 & 2 Thessalonians about standing firm in your faith. Or, study one of our other reading plans available on YouVersion. Just search for “Spoken Gospel” in the reading plans section.
Our prayer is that God will continue to transform you and that you will become more like Jesus as you see Him on every page of the Bible.
