A Simple Heart

Psalm 116:6 NIV says, "The Lord protects the simple-hearted."

God guards and protects those with a simple heart.

So if our lives are complicated, filled with drama, and unresolved issues that linger, it means our hearts need to be set right first. Because humility restores many things, while a hardened heart complicates many things. The more complicated our hearts are, the more we experience :

• Losing many precious things.
• Damaging many relationships.
• Getting stuck in the same situations and problems repeatedly.
• Causing more people to be hurt by our hard and complicated hearts.
• Making simple problems unnecessarily complex.
• Turning non-issues into issues.
• Viewing constructive feedback as attacks, filling our lives with insecurity and unease.

The decision is in our hands. The healing of your heart comes from the one who is closer than anyone in your life, JESUS.

Love people, love people. Forgiven people, forgive people.
