In the quiet moments of your single season, it can sometimes feel like something is missing—a longing for companionship, a desire for someone to share your life with. The deepest joy and fulfillment you seek is not found in human relationships but in the presence of God.

God promises to show you the "path of life," guiding you through every season, including singleness. This is not a path of loneliness but one of discovery—discovery of who you are in Christ and of the endless love and joy He has for you. On this path, you find your true identity, not in being someone’s partner but in being a daughter of the King.

"In Your presence is fullness of joy." Notice that the verse doesn't just say there is joy in God's presence—it says "fullness of joy." This means that nothing else can complete you in the way God can. When you spend time with Him, you find a joy that overflows, filling every empty space in your heart. This joy isn't dependent on circumstances, relationship status, or the approval of others. It is rooted in the eternal, unchanging love of God.

"At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." The pleasures of this world are momentary, but the joy that comes from God is everlasting. When you draw near to God, you experience the pleasures of His peace, His comfort, and His unconditional love. These pleasures sustain you through life's ups and downs, and they far surpass anything the world can offer.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being my source of joy and fulfillment. In this singleness season, help me find contentment in Your presence.
