Jeremiah: Forgiveness Despite Unfaithfulness | Video Devotionalნიმუში

Refresh Your Heart
Now that you've read through the book of Jeremiah, we invite you to re-watch the overview video from Day 1. Re-watching this video with a fresh set of eyes will remind you of everything you've learned as you revisit the overarching theme of the book of Jeremiah: Forgiveness Despite Unfaithfulness.
Reflect
Next, reflect as you re-read Jeremiah 31:31-40. Ask God to send His Holy Spirit to help you understand the central theme of Jeremiah - despite Judah's repeated failures and exile, God promises a new covenant that would transform their hearts and restore their relationship with Him. Ultimately, this new covenant was given to us by Jesus, who transforms our hearts and lives by his sacrifice and resurrection.
What's Next?
As believers in Jesus, we are called to become more like Jesus. This happens as we see Him in God's Word (2 Corinthians 3:18). So, we invite you to keep looking for Jesus on every page of the Bible.
If you'd like to continue studying the major prophets, check out our reading plan on Daniel. Or, study one of our other reading plans available on YouVersion. Just search for “Spoken Gospel” in the reading plans section.
Our prayer is that God will continue to transform you and that you will become more like Jesus as you see Him on every page of the Bible.
