RED - Release The Panic

DAY 4 OF 7

The Moment We Come Alive

Ever had a life changing experience? Maybe the birth of a child or something like the loss of a loved one? Experiences shape us in ways we never thought possible, whether good or bad. The end result is that you are now different than you once were and that could last a lifetime. I remember the first time I held my son. The nurses had rolled my wife away for an emergency C-Section. I knew that once she had left the room that when she returned our lives were never going to be the same. Sure enough the nurse brought my son to me while they were sewing my wife back up. I looked down and my son's eyes were open and he was gazing right back at me. It was as if he was saying, "Hey dad I'm here!" I will never forget that special moment just between the two of us. I knew that my life was going to change.

“The Moment We Come Alive” is a song based on someone finding Christ. We see life from a totally new perspective and begin to realize that He alone is responsible for creating us. I've known many people who have shared with me about what their life "used to be" before finding Christ. It was different. They didn't have that spark. The one that you know when you look at someone that there is something different about them. On many occasions people will notice RED by our actions and words on stage. Later they have to ask "What is it about you guys that I'm drawn to?" That my friend is the Holy Spirit at work in 4 individuals who are alive in Christ and want everyone to know about it. The life we had is gone.
