The God Who Sees YouSample
His gaze rests on you.
I am happy that "A Miracle Every Day" exists in Germany not only by e-mail, on the radio, and Spotify, but also daily on TV and YouTube. When we prepare these videos, there’s a lot of work that goes into the background first.
The final touch, which I really enjoy, is when the makeup artist gets me ready for the camera. I know she always does her best to give me a look that suits me.
It takes very special makeup for the camera because, without it, you can look sick and pale very quickly. So for me, that's the moment when I sit down and just let it happen — and enjoy it.
Since I know the makeup artist well by now, I know her work will be perfect in the end. Even after hours in front of the camera, I don't have to worry because I know she's in the room with her eyes on me to freshen up her work when I get tired.
Think of how our God looks at us! “... the God who sees me...” (Genesis 16:13 NIV). He not only looks at me, He sees.
He abides in your life and keeps His gaze upon you always. Yes, He is there, and will give you renewed strength when you have grown weary!
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:28-29 NIV)
And yes, before you stepped in front of the camera of your life, that is, before you were born, He thought carefully about how He wanted you so that you would fit perfectly into this life:
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (Psalm 139:13-14 NIV)
You may be sure of this today:
"My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalm 139:15-16 NIV)
He saw you yesterday
He sees you today
And the truth is:
He will see you tomorrow too!
You are a miracle!

About this Plan
“...You are the God who sees me… I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13). Do you feel not seen - by friends, family, God? Or maybe you feel rejected? If that is the struggle you are facing, it’s time to be reminded that you are seen by God.
