Called to Write

DAY 4 OF 5

Writing for the ONE.

Scripture:

What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? Matthew 18:12 NIV

Reflection:

You have good news to share, but do you know who you are supposed to share it with? You are not called to reach all people. Your message will resonate with a very specific group of people.

If you try to reach everyone, you will most likely not reach anyone. Understanding whom you are meant to reach will help you clarify your message, so it will land in the hearts of the people it was meant for. It doesn’t matter how sharp your arrow is if you don’t aim it at the target.

Jesus was all about reaching the ONE. He knew where to find the people who needed Him. He knew what each person needed, and He met that need.

Activation:

Ask the Holy Spirit:
a. Who is my ONE?
b. What is the problem I need to solve for them?

Make this your declaration:

I am a problem solver. I am dedicated to reaching the ONE with the message entrusted to me.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, give me the vision I need to see the one who needs the message I carry. Thank you for the wisdom that you so generously supply. Help me remember the ONE as I write my book.

In Jesus's name, amen.

About this Plan

Called to Write

Do you sense the call to write and publish a book? Jesus said that you are the light of the world, and He has created you to shine. When we write from our unity with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we write with authority. This Bible reading plan will help you discover that you are a unique expression of the Father's heart.
