ANTI-VENOMნიმუში

TRAUMA
Anti-venom: New outlook on life
Just as venom can paralyze, so too can traumatic memories from the past. Some of us have endured such harrowing events that they've impacted our cognitive functions. When faced with similar situations, some of us "freeze." All these occurrences serve as the enemy's tactic to confine you within the confines of the past.
The Bible advises us to "remember not the former things," yet it's easier said than done. God doesn't expect us to suddenly develop amnesia; rather, He wants us to stop giving power to those memories. What He's doing in our lives now is something entirely new. "Eyes have not seen, and ears have not heard" what the Lord intends to do with you, so don't succumb to the bitterness of the past. Whatever happened has served its purpose; now it's time to move forward. Be so excited by what the Lord has in store for you that the past loses its sting.
