Love This Book - Part 3ნიმუში

Week 28: This week we see Jesus embody His kingdom’s ideals. The Israelites are looking for a kingdom but the kingdom Jesus proclaims deviates from their expectations. He proclaims the Kingdom of God, one not based on self-distinction but on ethnic inclusion. Jesus models this to his audience, and to us as readers, in His treatment of the Samaritan woman, which we read in contrast with the actions of the Pharisee. He offers an invitation into a new life, a kingdom of heart transformation rather than legal observation, in both the text and our world today.
About this Plan

In part three of the Love This Book plan, we look at the life of Jesus and how it changes everything. Beginning in Daniel, we'll work our way through the Gospels and beyond, discovering along the way the meaning of Jesus' resurrection.
