Homecoming Fasting & Prayer Devotionalნიმუში

Praying for All
Daily Thought:
In 1 Timothy, Paul is writing to a pastor friend who joined him throughout some of his missionary journeys. In this letter, Paul exhorts Timothy to care for the church and its people. In this case, Paul instructs Timothy to pray intercessory and supplication prayers for the people in and outside the church.
Scripture Excerpt:
1 Timothy 2:1-2, ESV
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
Prayer Point:
As Paul instructs Timothy, take time to pray for all people today. Start with your family and friends. Then, pray for your church family. Now, pray for your city, your state, your country, and all the leadership therein. Beyond that, pray for all people in the world—specifically that they’d discover the salvation offered to them by Christ and lead a “peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”
