DAY 15 OF 21

The Father's ardent desire is to fulfill the longings of your heart, a truth underscored by the profound words of Jesus in Mark 11:24. The invitation to pray for whatever desires reside within your heart, with the assurance that they will be granted when believed, beckons a deeper exploration into the nature of these desires.

Jesus commences with the powerful phrase "whatever things you desire," hinting at the potential expansiveness of our desires. In contemplating these desires, it becomes apparent that the Father doesn't intend for our longings to be confined solely to personal gain. The scope widens, urging us to transcend self-centric aspirations and embrace a broader perspective. While He undoubtedly desires to bestow blessings and abundance upon us individually, His overarching vision extends to those within our sphere of influence. The call is not only to desire more for ourselves but to channel that desire into becoming conduits of blessing for others.

Amidst the assurance of personal blessings, the gospel resonates with the echo that God's abundance flows through us to reach those around us. This profound truth invites a shift from a self-centered mentality to an expansive one that echoes God's heart for generosity and abundance. As recipients of His goodness, our response is to share that "More" abundantly and perpetually.

Embracing the notion that God wants to bless, increase, and grant more leads to a paradigm shift where personal gain is interwoven with a deep-seated desire for the flourishing of others. The Father's intent is not confined to individual prosperity; it extends to encompass the broader landscape of salvation, restoration, increase, and wisdom in every facet of life.

Yet, as the concept of "more" unfolds, there may be thoughts that attempt to diminish our worthiness or deserving nature. However, the resounding truth of the finished work of Jesus Christ counters these notions, affirming our standing as worthy recipients of the Father's abundant provision.

Reflection: In the pursuit of more, let the desire not be constrained by self-limiting thoughts but be fueled by the recognition that, through the finished work of Jesus, we are deserving and worthy of the Father's generous outpouring. The realization that our desires can extend beyond personal gain to encompass the well-being of others transforms our pursuit of more into a transformative force for good.
