God’s Plan For Me

DAY 6 OF 6

Use your story to give God glory.

The things you go through make you unique. Everyone goes through good times, like having a fun day with someone we love. Everyone goes through bad times, like feeling left out. It might be easier to praise God for the good things, but God can use the bad things for our good too.

Both good and bad times help us grow into the people God made us to be, and we can use what we learned from them to help and serve others better. Next time you’re faced with a bad time, think about how God can use it for your good, His glory, and to help someone else out.

Watch the video, then use the Bible verse Romans 8:28 to do a Magazine Word Search. It will help you remember that God can use anything for your good and His purpose!

Magazine Word Search

  1. Ask a grownup for some old magazines.
  2. Look through the magazines for the words to Romans 8:28.
  3. When you find a word, cut it out.
  4. Glue the words you cut out in order to make the whole Bible verse.
  5. Cut out pictures about the Bible verse and glue them on your paper to decorate.

Talk It Over: Think of a hard time you have gone through. How can you use that experience to bring glory to God?
