Holy Spirit, how can we honor you in our daily lives?

To honor is the opposite of ignoring or despising. Talking to me is the beginning of honor.

So the lie that we shouldn't address you, Holy Spirit, is an offense? Like an insult?

It's like forbidding a man to talk to his wife. It destroys and prevents the relationship.

My friend, we must address the Holy Spirit directly, not in the third person. I invite you to think of him as a person.

1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you do not belong to yourselves?

It's time to open the doors of the temple and honor the Holy Spirit within you.

I invite you to pray this prayer

Holy Spirit, I ask you to forgive me for ignoring you in me until now. I decide to honor you, to adore you, to recognize your action in my life. I choose to develop my relationship with you. In Jesus' name. Amen.
