Praying With Others

DAY 4 OF 5

How Can I Pray for You?

We can expand our prayer lives by developing a mindset that everyday activities are opportunities to share Jesus' love. God calls us to be sympathetic and compassionate to one another. Even if you do not know exactly who to reach out to or what to say, the Holy Spirit can guide you each day. The only thing you need to do is be willing and open to the daily spontaneous circumstances you encounter. Colin Millar describes the dramatic results this new mindset has.

We hold the power to encourage others through quick moments of prayer. And in this sense, you are not only praying for these individuals - you are caring for them, too. Your prayers for the people God directs you to can help shine His light into their lives. The results will brighten the lives of all involved, including your own.

Day 3Day 5

About this Plan

Praying With Others

Prayer is a powerful way to interact with both God and others. Praying with others can be both encouraging and deeply meaningful. This plan will help you think of new ways to do that. Each of the five days contains a short audio message (1-2 minutes). The guests share about praying face-to-face, deepening relationships through prayer, seeing God's power, and leading group prayer.
