Writing Words That Outlive YouSample
What Difference Does It Make?
As writers and authors, many of us might find ourselves asking the following questions…
What difference will my book make in the world?
What difference can one person make?
Is my life really contributing very much?
Will anyone find encouragement from the words that I write?
Have you ever thought about the fact that every waterfall begins with a single drop of water?

One single bee can pollinate as many as 5000 flowers in a day! The lifespan of a bee is 30-60 days which means one bee could pollinate 150,000-300,000 flowers in their brief life. One bee will produce one tablespoon of honey in their lifetime. There is a reason we use the phrase “busy bee.”
Edward Kimball was a humble shoe salesman who had a burden for those without Christ. One day he shared the gospel with a man who would surrender to Jesus and eventually go on to impact thousands around the world for Christ. That man was D.L. Moody.
In 1928, Henrietta Mears was called to lead a Sunday School class that grew from 400 to 4000 under her direction. She later went on to found Gospel Light Publishing and Forest Home Christian Conference Center in Southern California. Of the people she influenced, 400 went into full-time Christian service. Among them were Bill Bright and Billy Graham.
“I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” – Ezekiel 22:30 (NLT, emphasis mine)
God was looking for one person then and He still looks for one person today to join Him in what He’s doing on the earth.
One little boy shared his lunch of bread and fish with Jesus…which Jesus then fed 5000 with.
