Kingdom Influence

DAY 6 OF 9

Influence through Stewardship

One of the critical tools we must cultivate is both an attitude and a mindset of stewardship; we are not OWNERS of anything, but rather STEWARDS in every arena of life. A steward is one who manages the affairs or property of another for the good of the other. This mentality is critical both in the spiritual and natural arenas. In this study, I will only speak of it in the natural realms of daily life. To be a steward means purpose is to serve another with faithfulness, honesty, and wisdom in order to both maintain and increase their holdings. It is to live for the good of another!

This is a foundational stone in the Kingdom of God. Jesus said,

“One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?” Luke 16:10-12

Through anointed stewardship, we bring increase to those we serve in the natural arenas of these Seven Mountains. We become indispensable. We bring breakthrough. We change our schools, businesses, television stations, and churches. We also place ourselves in the position for promotion into greater levels of authority and influence.

Application

Choose one thing in your life that you need to fully relinquish ownership to the Lord. Write or Journal how choosing to steward that thing instead of own it would change your life.
