Real Hope: Learning From the Book of Job

DAY 7 OF 7

Learnings from Job

There’s a lot to take in from Job, so what can we learn? Let me suggest four things.

1. Job remained faithful to God, despite all his trials. He understood that even when things seemed about as bleak as they could be, God was there with him.

2. God is in charge of everything, there is nothing that He cannot do. He hears, He sees, He loves us, and He is faithful.

3. God’s plan is beyond our understanding, but we know that we are part of His plan and purpose.

4. God’s righteousness and purpose are not in a balance. All life including suffering has value to God, and in the end He will make it all right.

We all have the opportunity of being made right with God through the death and resurrection of Jesus. This is God’s ultimate plan of redemption through Jesus that provides restoration for all who call on Him.
