“And they lived happily ever after" is the familiar ending to many an endearing fairy tale. These happy endings resonate with our hearts' need for lasting joy and peace. God has planted eternity in the hearts of man (Ecclesiastes 3:11) and hence our heart seeks that which endures forever. Yet, the joy that this world has to offer is temporal at best. For when the object of our affection ceases to be, we become sad and teary-eyed.

Rather, it leads to an eternal, lasting joy with the loving Savior of your soul. A joy to be experienced here and now amidst life’s challenges, and one that ensures you live happily ever after.
