Psalm 62:6-8 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.  My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. 

God is faithful to every word He speaks and every promise.  There is nothing impossible for Him or anything to difficult for Him.  Can you imagine being Moses, standing on the edge of the sea, surrounded by the people he has just lead out of Egypt, the enemy coming up fast behind them, and he is looking for the way to cross the sea and reach the promised land?  

Moses had two things to hold onto.  The first was God’s promise.  God had promised He would lead them out.  The second was the knowledge of what God had already done.  Moses was clinging to a promise and a testimony and just waiting on God to come through for him.  And God did!  What are you facing in your life right now?  What promises can you hold onto?  What testimonies can you recall and remind your heart of?  God will come through for you in His perfect way and perfect time.  He is our firm rock that we can stand on and depend on.
