The woman had a history of multiple marriages and was currently living with a man who was not her husband. Her past and present actions could have led others to judge and condemn her, but Jesus approached her with unconditional love and grace.

Instead of focusing on her mistakes, Jesus saw her as a person worthy of compassion and acceptance. He engaged her in a meaningful conversation, addressing her spiritual thirst and offering her "living water," representing profound spiritual fulfilment and forgiveness.

Jesus' love for the Samaritan woman was not contingent on her past or her moral standing; rather, it was a love that looked beyond her mistakes and embraced her as a cherished individual. He did not shy away from her past or judge her for it. Instead, He offered her the opportunity to experience transformation and the possibility of a new beginning.

It is not based on our merit or our ability to be faultless; it is a gift freely given to us.
