Jehovah: A Name of Godნიმუში

Today's name is Jehovah Shalom which is pronounced juh-ho-vuh shaw-lome. Jehovah Shalom is found only one time in the Bible, Judges 6:24, "So Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and called it Jehovah Shalom." Here, the name means "The Lord is Peace."
This is the same chapter God calls Gideon a "mighty warrior" before he does a single mighty thing. He wanted Gideon to rest in the fact that He was with him every step of the way. He would give Gideon peace.
God has a name for you too. Pray today and ask Him what it is!
To dig deeper, read the full chapter in Judges.
