TheLionWithin.Us: How to Pursue Your Careerნიმუში

Learning Yourself
Your life experiences have built you into the man that you are today.
As you think about your career, it is important that you take the time to learn who you are and identify what you hope to accomplish for the Kingdom in the future. As Ephesians tells us, we are created for good works that have already been prepared.
It’s your duty as a Lion to seek out God’s path for your life and pursue that with vengeance. Too many men chase money and titles instead of learning what talents God has provided them and going all in with those skills. When you find a career that aligns your talents with God’s plans, your work life will become fruitful.
As you get a sense of your calling, take necessary steps to learn more about the vocation and what the future earning potential is for that path. You are responsible for providing for your family and taking the time to understand the financial impact will help as you make prayerful decisions about your future. Take the time to see what God will reveal to you as you plan out the next steps of your professional journey.
Question to Consider
- How could you help build God’s Kingdom in your career?
- How often are you asking God for career guidance and wisdom?
- What actions will you commit to today to be the leader God intends you to be?
