God’s mercy is a gift that moves Him to be actively compassionate and generous to sinners. His mercy incorporates His holiness, righteousness, and justice. When we humble ourselves and confess our sins, sincerely requesting God’s forgiveness, He is faithful and just to forgive them.
Where do you need God’s mercy right now? Our merciful God can be trusted with your brokenness. Although we have no right to expect anything from Him, in His mercy He gives us everything.
Father God, I thank You for Your mercy and Your compassion in my life. Empower me to extend that same mercy to those who sin against me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
