Understand Your Gift

In a world brimming with diverse talents and skills, it's easy to overlook the unique gifts that God has entrusted to us. We may even undervalue our abilities, especially when our lives seem mundane. However, God reminds us that we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to perform the good works He has prepared for us.

Paul, in his letters to the Romans and the Ephesians, uses a particular word to describe God's creation - 'handiwork' or 'workmanship'. It implies that we are intricately crafted by God Himself, similar to a master craftsman who takes great care and delight in his creation.

Paul further asserts that God's invisible qualities can be understood through His workmanship. This leads us to a profound realization: we, as God's creation, are meant to reflect His qualities. We are designed to be an expression of God, to showcase His attributes through our lives and work.

This is the essence of our ministry. Regardless of our vocations - whether we are entrepreneurs, tech professionals, artists, educators, or church workers - our foremost ministry is to manifest God's qualities so that others can see Him through us.

Understanding our unique gift is fundamental to fulfilling this ministry. Whether we offer a product or a service, it should be a reflection of the unique abilities and talents God has given us. As we align our work with our divine purpose, we not only add value to others' lives but also glorify God through our work.
