What Would Courage Do?Sample

God gives me courage to never give up.

Sometimes showing courage is a one-time, big, brave thing you do. But courage is also doing what’s right every single day, over and over, no matter what.

In the Bible, Noah showed the kind of courage that never gave up. Think about it. God could have said, “Noah, here’s a boat and all the animals. Get in right now because a flood is starting in one hour.”

But that’s not how it went. God asked Noah to build the ark in the middle of the land. Noah showed courage by choosing to obey God, even though it made him look like a fool to everyone else. He had to wake up every day and choose to go out to that ark and keep building. Finally, after years and years of Noah doing what was right, God sent the animals, sealed Noah and his family up in the ark, and sent the flood.

Because Noah kept having courage to obey every day, his family and all the animals were safe.
