Letting Go!

DAY 3 OF 3

Failure; Letting Go!

Letting go doesn't always mean failure; it can be the start of a new journey to succeed and reach a destination you never thought was possible. So take a deep breath, take a step back, and trust that you are exactly where you need to be right now.

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 NLT

Ultimately, letting go isn’t about failure—it can be an opportunity to start afresh and access something even greater. Failure—it’s such a big, loaded word that can loom over our accomplishments.

Change is inevitable, so every transition and adjustment doesn't have to be seen or judged as a failure.

The inevitability of change causes you to remember that you are strong, you are capable, and you have the courage to take on whatever is thrown your way.

“For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1:3-4 NLT

You can realize that what initially might appear as a setback is really equipping for greater capacity. It can be a blessing in disguise and can lead you to the best version of yourself. You’re growing!

So, remember to be brave and believe in yourself. You have permission to begin again and again. Letting go is hard, but sometimes it's the biggest blessing we can receive.

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.” Romans 8:38 NLT

With age comes perspective, and we come to understand the best part about aging is time has taught us value and equity.

As difficult as life can be at times, take comfort in knowing age has enlightened us to the importance of cherishing our days. Letting go is growth, so don't shy away from it—embrace it, and experience how God will make it work for your good.

“Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!” Psalm 95:6-7 NLT

Pray:

Heavenly Father, I lean into Your great love and care over my life.

I honor You by surrendering my hopes and dreams into Your hands. Thank You for the permission and the faith to let go and experience new and unique things as I move forward. Amen.
