Jesus First for Menნიმუში

Steadfast
God has filled His Word with promises, and most of them are promises of steadfastness and faithfulness. We can be sure of His love because He has proven it, time and time again, and recorded its testing throughout the Bible. God says, “My covenant of peace shall not be removed.” When God makes a covenant, He does not break it. He can’t because doing so would deny His character. His love is perfect and founded in eternity.
The first line of this verse from Isaiah uses imagery of physical destruction. It’s important to note that mountains and hills are much more secure than most of the things we are afraid of moving. Our jobs or homes are more likely to be upset. Yet even if the mountains gave way, or the entire universe for that matter, God’s love remains steadfast.
Oh God, please make me a man who loves as steadfastly as you do. Make me perfect in your love and faithfulness.
