Day 4: What is Acceptable to God?

Jesus Christ was the perfect example of what it looked like to live a holy and acceptable life here on earth towards God the Father. Jesus is our example of how to live on this earth and follow God’s instruction for a life of holiness. While on earth Jesus met every standard, fulfilled every law, and walked out to perfection in God’s way of living. Since Jesus lives on the inside of us, we are now empowered to do our lives in a holy and acceptable way unto God. However, we must be intentional in doing what is right according to God’s word. God has given us the power to get control over our sin issues so our sin doesn’t control us. When we allow sin in our lives, it pulls us further away from God’s presence. When we allow God’s presence into our lives, it pulls us further away from sin

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I repent for the sins in my life that have separated me from you. I ask you to forgive me and give me the strength to live a life that is holy and acceptable to you. I ask you to draw me into times of prayer and studying your word so I can know you more. I ask you to help me to submit and fully surrender my life to you, Lord, so I can hear your voice and do what you tell me to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen
