The Journey of Life

Following God’s wisdom brings rewards. Proverbs 2 says that if we aim to honor God in our lives, His wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and good counsel will guide us down “the paths of the righteous.” These paths are reserved for those who choose God’s path.

The first step to walking on God’s path is to believe that Jesus is the Son of God who came to die for our sins. When we accept this truth in our hearts, Jesus’ victory over sin becomes our own. We can have a relationship with God because of Jesus’ sacrifice, and each day we walk with Him, He helps us talk, act, and think like Jesus.

God made our hearts with the desire to make a difference. God is waiting for us to discover that His purpose for our lives is the best way to live. As you connect your heart to His, He will show you how to make a difference in your world as you walk with Him daily. That is the greatest reward!

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I am thankful that You made a way for me to have a relationship with You. I want to walk with You all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
