Every day, we put our trust in things that we may not always be able to see. We trust that we’ll have oxygen to breathe, lights will turn on when we flip a switch, or that water will flow when we turn on the faucet. We know these things because they’ve happened before. We’ve seen evidence of them working continually and consistently. While we may not understand the science or technology behind the scenes, we trust that things will happen and work as they were created to.

Regarding trusting in God, He has placed evidence all around us that He is and has always been trustworthy. He showed us this when He led His people out of slavery in Egypt. God showed that Paul could trust Him, even when imprisoned in Rome. And today, we have stories from people all around us who testify about placing their trust in God, no matter what. Do you truly trust in God? Do you believe He cares for you, sees you, and wants to be a part of your life? If you do, thank Him for being a refuge in your life.
