Twice in this passage, verses 5 & 10, the women are told to not be afraid. It seems as if the whole event was quite intense and frightening with earthquakes and lighting. What do you think this means? The resurrection of Jesus is looked back upon as a good event, a joyful event, so why is it mixed in with this imagery?
