As you read through Colossians for a second time, look for repeated words or phrases. Repetition in the text is often an author's way of making the main points clear. (Remember when your mother or father would repeat things to you as a child?) For example, in Colossians 1, you will see the word "Gospel" repeated over and over. First, use a new color to highlight repeated words or phrases in the text. Then, use the Notes feature in the YouVersion app to reflect on this repetition. What was Paul trying to make clear by repeating these words and phrases?
