Gracious Heavenly Father - #2ნიმუში

Gracious Heavenly Father,

You are knowledgeable about all things;
we Your children are not.

You know the end
from the beginning,
and all in between;
we Your children do not.

You can see the ins and outs,
the orchestrating of details;
we Your children cannot.

You alone are wisdom.

You alone are truth.

Lord, it is not in the way of man
to direct his own steps.

We, who only see here and now,
bits and pieces,
this and that
cannot see clearly
the way to go,
the choices to make,
the direction to head.

You alone know.

So, we come to You, Father God,
asking for You to lead us.

We want only to be
in Your will,
to follow Your path,
to walk the way You
would have us to travel.

As we seek You above all else,
help us, Your children
to hear Your still small voice
above the noise of
selfish ambition,
worldly opinion,
insecurity and fear.

And when we hear,
may we be
bold to follow,
quick to answer,
completely in tune with Your will.

Thank you, Father God.

How blessed we are
to be Your children.
