Have you ever experienced true love in your lifetime?

Love can be both scary and exhilarating. To give of yourself so completely can leave you feeling vulnerable, yet it can also be the most soul-satisfying thing ever. We were made to love and to be loved by our Creator and it gives Him no greater pleasure than to know that we are totally surrendered to Him and His love.

Moreover, the Lord reciprocates our love for Him with this promise from 1 Corinthians 2:9:

“No eye has seen, no ear has heard,

and no mind has imagined

what God has prepared

for those who love him.”

What an amazing God! He not only gives us the very thing that our souls desire, but even more. He gives us an abundant life far beyond what we can ask or imagine. He spreads His sweet love over us continually. And He makes sure that we are completely and fully satisfied in Him.

This verse shows us the beauty of being in a relationship with the One who loves us beyond our wildest dreams. So much so that He sent His Son to die for us and make it so that we can live not only an abundant life here on earth, but an eternal life in heaven. He is a God who is deserving of our surrender, knowing that in turn, we are sweetly loved.
