Honoring God Through Health: Creating Peace in the Mind Body and Spirit

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.”

WeShare encourages healthy living of the mind, body, and spirit. Our bodies are the most precious gifts we have been given, and it is important to treat them with respect and care, as the temples they are. We can honor the spirit within us by eating healthily, exercising regularly, and finding ways to bring joy and peace into our lives.

Eating nutritious, balanced meals, as well as exercising regularly are great ways to honor your body. You could also take time out of your day to do something that makes you feel good, like taking a relaxing bath or going for a walk. Make sure you get enough rest, too! It's also important to take care of your mental wellness and practice self-care, such as journaling, meditating, or talking to a therapist. Finally, try adding positive affirmations and compliments to your daily routine; taking a pause in this way can help you build a better relationship with your body and honor God.
