One of the most popular team-building and truly trust-building exercises is called a “trust fall.” One person stands with their back to a group, crosses their arms over their chest, and then slowly starts to lean back. The idea is that as they’re leaning back, the group behind will catch them before they hit the ground. As you can imagine, this takes quite a bit of trust - Trust that your team will be paying attention, that they’re strong enough to catch you, and even trust in yourself not to panic as you fall. But what a great feeling when you’re caught! What a great feeling to know that you have people in your life who will make sure that you don’t hit the ground! With trust like that, a team is able to accomplish so much more than they may have thought possible. And lucky for us in our lives as believers, we truly can trust in a Savior who promises to never let us fall.
When we put our lives in the hands of God, we know we’re giving control over to the One who wants the best for us. While we can’t expect our lives to be perfect, we can trust in the fact that Jesus will never leave us on our own. Today, spend some time in prayer, thanking God for the plans that are in place for you, and asking Him to help you trust that He will direct your path.

About this Plan
A small shift can be enough to change your perspective. When we shift our perspective, we allow ourselves to see something in a whole new light. Many of us have a picture of what we want and expect Jesus Christ to be, but if we allow ourselves to shift our perspective, we can see a God who is so much more than we think.
