Precious Moments That Count For Eternityნიმუში

Change Your Thoughts - it will Change Your World
Fear came into the human race through the fall of Adam and Eve. Faith replaced fear, with the coming of Jesus Christ, and will be perfected when we see Him face to face. Mankind, however, is ruled by thoughts. What you dwell upon, rules your day. For as he thinks in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7a). Negative thoughts can have no influence over you unless you empower them by meditating on them.
Once, a vagabond strolling lazily down the railway tracks, saw a refrigerated van which was cleaned, washed and left to dry. He entered in, sat down in a corner and fell asleep. The guard on duty shut the doors, and started the cooling system to leave it on throughout the night before loading it in the morning. Since it was used for fruits and vegetables the temperature would never fall below freezing point. Next morning at the shed, the staff found the vagabond dead. They wondered how he could have died since the temperature wasn’t very low. When they checked his body they found his fists, knuckles and feet bloodstained as he must have been banging and kicking the door, hoping that someone would open it. However it wasn’t the temperature that killed him but it was the negative and fearful thoughts of freezing and loneliness that killed him.
The Bible exhorts us to renew our thoughts with what God thinks of us. Do not conform to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
Prayer
Father, I thank You for the good thoughts You have towards me. They outnumber the grains of sand on the seashore. Influence me by those thoughts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
