Seeing Yourself Through the Eyes of Christ a 6-Day Devotional by Dr. Robyn L. GobinSample
Act on Truth
One of the biggest mistakes we make is waiting to feel the truth before we act on it. We say to ourselves, “I want to feel 100% confident before I do the thing God has been nudging me to do.” Increased belief in the truth comes not only from knowing the truth and consuming the truth but acting on the truth. Each step we take in faith increases our confidence in the truth. When we act on the truth, we create evidence that debunks every lie, accusation, and scheme of the enemy.
Let’s act now! Grab your list of truths from Day 3. For each truth, ask yourself the following: How would I act differently in my life if I wholeheartedly believed this truth? What would I stop doing? What would I start doing? For example, if I wholeheartedly believed that I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), how would I act differently in my life? What would I stop doing? What would I start doing?
Write down the answers that come to mind. When opportunities arise, challenge yourself to act accordingly.
Verse of the Day: Philippians 2:13
Prayer: Lord, your word instructs me to walk by faith and not by sight. As I journey through this day, reveal to me opportunities to align my actions with the truth. Each day you give is precious, and I don’t want to take them for granted. Give me the boldness to act in alignment with truth no matter how I feel. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan
What you think about yourself matters. We can’t live fully surrendered to God while maintaining allegiance with lies that distort our vision of who we are. We position ourselves to be fully used for God’s good purposes when we know and believe the truth of who God says we are. This 6-day plan will equip you with practical strategies to break free from the lies and embrace the truth.
