Unwavering Hopeნიმუში

Does God "overlook" people?
"Oh, you know, I've already recorded a lot of songs—I'm even signed to a record label." This singer was on the fast track, and her comments hurt. I, too, had a dream…a dream that she was already living, which seemed unattainable to me then.
As she talked to me, I felt small and somehow "overlooked by God." But today, many years later, I am much further along on my life's journey. I understand that God has been preparing this path for me for a long time, shaping my character so I would mature at the right time!
An example from the Bible clearly reveals how important it is to Jesus to take action at the right time, not before our time. It’s when Jesus cursed the fig tree because it did not bear fruit (see Mark 11:12-14).
You may wonder what was so wrong with the fig tree that Jesus cursed it! I believe it's because the tree already had leaves, even though the proper season for leaves had not yet come. The tree "pretended" to have ripe fruit, even though it was too soon…and this displeased Jesus.
Don't be upset when you see how well others are doing or how they're seemingly "living the dream" while you're still waiting. Be ready when your time comes. God isn't overlooking you. He loves you and has a unique plan for your life. To accomplish this plan, He wants your cooperation, which often requires the willingness to wait. I encourage you today…trust Him while you wait. :-)
"While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18, NKJV)
Your time will come!
You are a miracle!
