Be With Me: Five-Day Devotional on God’s Will for Us to Love Each Otherნიმუში

Have you ever met someone that you found difficult to love? Maybe someone at work, a parent in your child’s school, or your neighbor next door? I was playing golf in my ladies’ league with a person who was being extremely difficult. I felt she was “picking” on me compared to the other ladies. I was finding it very tough to be kind to her. But what is God’s will for me? To love my neighbor. Sometimes it’s good to take a step back and remember that this person is God’s child and His will for us is to love our neighbor even when it is hard. I found myself judging her and not speaking to her. But knowing God’s will is love I took a step back and did my best to show her love.

These are my Words of Wisdom from God: Humans make love difficult and complicated. It is so easy. Love each other. If you are not loving each other, then you are not doing My will. Loving one another is one way to love Me. Know that everyone is My child and I love them, so you should love them too. It sounds easy, but I understand how hard it is. Society today makes it difficult. Do not be judgmental of one another. When you are not judgmental, it is much easier to love one another.

Scripture tells us in Matthew 7:1: Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

So today, take a few moments and ask yourself: Does being judgmental of others hinder my love? When has this happened in my life? How can I do better at living with love for this person?
