Esther, Born for Such a Time as Thisნიმუში

Yesterday we read that Mordecai spoke words of encouragement, helping Esther to make a decision. She chose not to listen to her emotions of fear but to do what is right. But, she did know that she could not do it alone. So she made two decisions: she went to God by praying and fasting, and she asked for help.
As we read before, asking God for help is the best thing you can do. After all, He has everything in His hands. Sometimes we don't experience that and we have to take a step in trust. It is wonderful when there are people around whom you can ask for help, talk to, and—above all—pray with. From experience I can say that it can be very difficult to ask other people for help, but when you cross that threshold it gives you so much more peace and courage, because you don’t have to do it alone.
What do you do when you find yourself in a situation that you find difficult? Are you going to battle it alone? Or will you choose to involve others?
Dare to take that step, go to someone and talk. Pray together. Because together we are stronger.

About this Plan

In this plan, we will take you through the book of Esther. We can admire Esther's courage, but we should see the whole picture: Esther, too, needed to be reminded of Who rules and that her life is in His hand. We pray that Esther's story inspires you to see God's hand in your life. God has intentionally placed you where you are for such a time as this.
