What Is Sin?

DAY 12 OF 12

“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29)

God will remove sin completely

Sin has not always been there, and will not remain forever. Jesus has come as the Lamb of God to die in our place and to take away the sin of the world. Whoever believes in Him, is saved from sin. However, its consequences are still there, and many people reject Jesus’ offer of forgiveness. The world is still full of sinfulness!

But one day, Jesus will return to judge humanity. Whoever has believed in Him will be invited to live on a new, perfect earth. Whoever has rejected Jesus, will receive eternal punishment. Satan himself will be thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur to be tormented forever and ever. He won’t have any influence on the new earth anymore. There will be no more death, no more sin, no more imperfection. People will live in harmony with the Lord God, with each other and with nature. They will finally live the lives God had intended for them, aimed at His glory.

Will you be there as well?
