The Life Of A Worship LeaderSample
Is What You Live Worth Singing?
Do you sing what you mean or mean what you sing? How we live the answer to this question is reflective to our being as worshipers. When we reflect His values, both the things we say and how we live are fruit from a growing heart in Christ.
“I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being.” (Ephesians 3:16)
The inner being is what God is more interested in rather than the skill of our voices. At the same time, our skills and talents, whatever they may be, declare the works of God. To make His praise glorious is to trust in every word of God. He is our shield and defender. He covers those who put their trust in Him. That is worth singing about!
We love Him because He first loved us. We also sing to Him because He sings over us. How great is our God who teaches us to sing and to make His praise glorious. Everything we do and sing should be an outward response of worship, flowing from an inward transformation through Christ.
“Sing the glory of His name; make His praise glorious.” - Psalm 66:2
