Uncommen: Transformed

DAY 4 OF 5

Restoration

Jesus reversed the curse!

Christ redeemed us from the law’s curse by becoming a curse for us (Galatians 3:13–14). We are no longer under the curse because Jesus took the curse for us. We do not have to fall victim to spiritual warfare. We do not have to battle in our homes because of women and men. We do not have to hate our work. We can walk with God without shame, experience a glimpse of Eden (heaven on earth). We are in Christ, and the Spirit of Christ is in us.

Hearing God’s Voice

We all need to be willing to hear God’s voice no matter where we are in our spiritual journey. What are your dreams or hopes for the future? Are they selfish dreams? Are they selfless dreams? Everyone has a plan, but is it yours, or is it God’s?

Supernatural Clues

When we seek Him through prayer, fasting, and Scriptures, those moments that God speaks open us to His plan. Begin journaling to see where God is leading you. Mark 10:29:30 shares insight into relocation opportunities.

“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.” (Mark 10:29–30)

External Clues

Through the wise counsel of others, God speaks to us and keeps us humble. Therefore, open the way for God to talk to you through others. Current circumstances should not mean we choose what is easiest, but the consideration that God has opened opportunities has become time to act upon them by stepping out of the boat and saying YES!

Internal Clues

Internal clues consider our significance.

  • What makes you unique or different?
  • What are the deepest desires, passions of your heart?
  • What are your spiritual gifts, strengths, background?

The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.” (Proverbs 10:28)

“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4)

Jesus sees the potential in you. He is calling you to a higher place to make the world better. Jesus desires to change your life and watch the lives of those you care about change through your influence. When you are receptive to a personal relationship with God and learning to hear His voice, you are beginning to discern His purpose for a fruitful life.

Uncommen Questions:

1. Do you have personal core values? If so, what are they?

2. Who helps you find your way back to your most authentic self?

Uncommen Challenge:

God is working on you in a way that you have yet to recognize. God reveals these areas, and your wisdom is growing. Read Jeremiah 32:19 and pray over the questions.

“Great are your purposes, and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind; you reward each person according to their conduct and as their deeds deserve.” (Jeremiah 32:19)
