21 Days Prayer & Fasting "Alive in Clarity"

DAY 5 OF 21

GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION

Have you ever had this experience: You tried hard but didn't get the results you expected? For example, when looking for a mate, career or about our health? You have tried to live a straight and righteous life, tried to please God, so how come you still don't get what was expected? Until finally, we start asking God, "what's wrong with us?" and we end up choosing to undo those dreams/aspirations/hopes or lowering the initial standards that we had.

In Acts 3:1-10, a man was crippled from birth, and every day he sat near the gate of the temple. Initially, he may have hoped to get help from others for healing or significant changes in life. But over time all he received was alms from people who passed him every day. He began to accept whatever is given by others, he may have never again hoped to be able to recover from his paralysis.

How about you? Are you now starting to lower the standard of your initial vision for your life and accept the results, or even accept help in the form of 'alms' from others? At the end of the paralyzed man's story, suddenly a miracle happened and the dream was resurrected again when he met God through Peter and John. He received a cure and his life was not the same after that day!

So, never give up, remember: God's time is not our time. Giving up is not an option! Staying away from God is not the solution!

Let's stay loyal to do our best, keep moving forward even if we drag our steps, don't hesitate to get help from the closest people in order to reach a destination/your goal. And most importantly remember to maintain your faith in God who will never be too late to help you.

If in the past God helped your life, would it be possible for God to stay silent for your future?

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Prayer:

Thank you, Lord, for your inclusion in our lives. There are times when we feel very tired and cannot see Your hand working in our lives, but we know You are always present and involved in every season of our lives. Teach us to always see the way You see. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
