Integral D-Tox, Prepared for Him

DAY 4 OF 5

Spiritual D-tox

How do we realize we are spiritually intoxicated?  Symptoms may include:

• When we think more about activities than the Lord

• When events are more important than people

• When we come to our Father, it’s to ask or seek for something and not for pleasure

• When the spiritual becomes routine and not out of pleasure

• When praying or worshipping, our mind is elsewhere

The Lord brings light on some of these in your life not to condemn but to correct in love. He is the best and greatest restorer. He does not cast aside but builds us up again; He improves us. That is why we can come to Him and confess to Him, not deceive ourselves by covering up what happens within us. He already knows. He only needs our recognition to be able to act.

Martha was so eager and believed she did her best for her Master, serving Him, preparing the best food, fixing her house, but Mary discovered the secret of simply being still at His feet and what was the best thing to do.

SELAH: Leave all activity aside and stand still, take time to look at Him, think of Him, literally set your eyes on Christ, as long as necessary, until your love is re-ignited and the desire to worship Him arises from that vision.

Day 3Day 5

About this Plan

Integral D-Tox, Prepared for Him

We long for the Second Coming of Christ! The Scriptures tell us about the Church as a bride expecting the arrival of her Bridegroom, focused on His coming. A bride prepares for the great day of her wedding. In this plan, we will see how to prepare to be the delight of the Beloved, taking time to decontaminate and detoxify ourselves from what takes us away from Him.
