Day 6: My husband will make war

Scripture: Ephesians 6:10-11,  In conclusion, be strong in the Lord draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Put on the whole armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

My Prayer: Father, you have captivated our hearts as you set your love on us. We are yours as we are so grateful to be called your children. Thank you for your everlasting and unwavering love, for the grace you have given us, and the abundant mercy and grace you have shown us. Lord, I come for the sake of my husband that you will help him with his fight with sin. Open his eyes to see the worldly temptation for what they are, garbage, compared to the kingdom that awaits your children. Help my husband to make war against the flesh that has to feed him lies, and that tells him that what he wants right now is the only thing that matters. 

My husband told me the stories of how he was on the streets, when he sold drugs and how he would step to anybody and did not care; God let him step to sin that way. Father helps him see that Satan, the father of lies, wants to steal glory from him. Help my husband know that the bloodshed of Jesus Christ is the victory over Satan and the wickedness he is trying to sell. Father, he may get weak, and he needs you to be his help, strength, and armor.  Father, help him fight as he fought when he was in Satan's army and help him to know the fight you have fought for us, show him how he has failed you, and lead him in the right direction. 

Father, I want my husband to be holy and wholly devoted to you, and I pray that you touch and transform my heart and help me be an example, an encouragement, and a respectful wife to my husband. In Jesus' Name, Amen!
